Have you noticed how orchid leaves can become unsightly due to water marks, dust, and grime!  Well, there’s a trick you can do without chemicals or soap and water that will give your orchid leaves a beautiful appearance.  It’s in most of our refrigerators.  On a piece of cloth or soft paper, place a very small dab of mayonnaise.  Rub it gently over the top of the leaf and rub gently until you get the surface cleaned.  Make sure you more »

In Bloom – C. bowringiana var. coerulea

This is an old timer that I received from Williette Wong several years ago.  The plant is growing in a 6-inch plastic pot with orchid bark as the media.  The color of the flowers makes this species very attractive.  This article and photos were contributed by Mel Waki.
