Annual Fund Raiser (Silent Auction) To Be Held On Wednesday, March 9, 2016

The Honolulu Orchid Society will be holding its annual silent auction during the March 9 General Membership Meeting at the Lanakila Elementary School Cafeteria.  The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 PM followed immediately by the auction.  Orchid plants for the auction are being donated by the following nurseries:  Hawaii Pacific Orchids, S&W Orchids, Orchid Center, H&R Nurseries, Kawamoto Orchids, Olomana Orchids, Kiilani Gifts & Garden, Konishi Orchids, Kogachi Orchids, Penny’s Orchids, Orchids of Waianae, Kodama Orchids from Oahu; Hawaii Hybrids, Carmela Orchids, Kalapana Orchids, Winning Orchids, Hilo Orchid Farm, The Orchid Works, Akasuka Orchid Gardens from Hawaii Island; and Tropical Orchid Farm from Maui.  Members will also be donating plants and baked goods.  Proceeds from the auction will be used to fund the activities of the Society for the year.  Members and guests who wish to expand their orchid collection at a reasonable price are cordially invited to participate.  Refreshments will be served.  There is ample free parking in front of the cafeteria.  Photographs of last year’s auction are posted below to give you a flavor of what the auction is like.
