Roy Andrade Will Be the Guest Speaker at HOS’ September Meeting

Roy Andrade will be presenting a general orchid culture presentation at the Honolulu Orchid Society (HOS) general membership meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Lanakila Elementary School Cafeteria. The presentation will cover many aspects of orchid culture including watering, fertilizing, potting, transplanting, shading and controlling pests. Roy will also speak about small tools and equipment one should have to facilitate the growing of orchids. This program is geared for beginners but will be informative for seasoned growers. Roy is the President of the Ewa Orchid Society and is an accredited judge for the American Orchid Society and HOS. His presentations are always very entertaining.

The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM. Guests are more than welcome to attend the meeting. There is ample free parking in front of the Cafeteria. Refreshments will be served.
