Two years ago University of Hawaii botany graduate student Julia Douglas spoke to us on her orchid conservation work in Mexico. The Honolulu Orchid Society is pleased and excited to have her back to present her research on the canopy ecology of epiphytic orchids in Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula, said to be one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Julia will be joining us via Zoom from Mexico.
