This is a plant from the HOS group buy from Sunset Valley Orchids. It arrived as a cross of Cyc. Swan Cascade ‘Dark Swan’ x Cyc. Dark Swan ‘Black Swan’ which was recently registered as Cyc. Cafe au Lait. This is the first bloom of the plant growing in a 4″ hanging plastic pot. The flowers which are actually darker brown than shown in the photo below lasted for two weeks. You can see that the leaves are turning yellow which is a sign that the plant is about to go into the dormant period.
