Small growing, single to few flowered, Peruvian species related to Catasetinae and Cyrtopodiinae. Galeandras will often rebloom on the same inflorescence, so don’t cut it off until the next growth matures! Galeandras have long, skinny pseudobulbs and go through a rest period, like Catasetinae. They don’t have as much reserves in their pseudobulbs as Catasetinae, so don’t let them dry out for too long.
