Formerly known as Cattleya aurantiaca, this is a spotted form of the species from Mexico to Costa Rica. This species is found at elevations of 300 to 1600 meters in tropical and lower mountain rainforests growing as an epiphyte and occasionally as a lithophyte. The two plants pictured are from a sib cross of ‘Mishima Spots’ and ‘SVO Spotty’.
