Miltonia spectabilis grows in Venezuela and Brazil. Has superb extra large deep purple flowers with a black licorice fragrance.
I got a cutting in a 5 inch pot a few years ago that grew out of the pot so I split it up and grew six more plants which are now flowering. They are very easy to grow but do best when repotted every other year.
