Pda. Tan Chay Yan is a Vanda alliance orchid originated by Robt. Tan in 1952. It is a cross of V. dearei x Pda. Josephine van Brero.
This plant is growing in full sun and is a rescue plant from Lokoea Farms in Haleiwa when we did the clean up during the pandemic.It has been a prolific bloomer and stands over 4 feet tall. The flowers are long lasting.
