Zygonisia Roquebrune is an intergeneric hybrid of Aganisia cyanea x Zygopetalum Artur Elle. The genus Aganisa was formerly known as Acacallis. This particular plant is a polyploid mutation, and has better shape and substance compared to the normal form of the clone. Zygopetalums prefer intermediate to cool conditions. This plant is grown in a plastic pot in pine bark.
I think it would tolerate the warmer end of intermediate conditions. It should grow in Aiea Heights, Manoa, Kaneohe, Kahaluu, Mililani and Wahiawa if given around 60% shade with good air movement.
