A Reflection on the Galaxy of Orchids

The Honolulu Orchid Society’s 73rd Annual Orchid Plant and Flower Show at Washington Middle School closed at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 7, 2012.  The following photos memorializes the Show Theme “Galaxy of Orchids”.

Best Cattleya in the Show was Blc. Momilani Jewel ‘OC’ grown by Calvin Kumano of the Aiea Orchid Club.
The Best Vanda in the Show was V. sanderiana var. alba ‘Waki’ owned by Pam Waki of the HOS.
The Best Flowering Specimen Plan and the Best Species was Dd. magnum owned by Larry Kamiya of the Windward Orchid Society.

Next year’s Show will be held at Washington Middle School on October 4-6, 2013.
