This is the albino form of a species from New Guinea, the Moluccas, the Sunda Islands and Sulawesi at lower elevations growing as an epiphyte. This plant is from a selfing of the cultivar ‘Kazuyuki Oka’ FCC/HOS made by Mel Waki. ‘Kazuyuki Oka’ is confirmed to be a tetraploid.
