    Thanks for your pictures. Your plant is young and showing signs of good new growth. The growth spike is young and indicates that the plant is healthy and growing. New roots with green tips are also a good sign that you are doing a good job providing light and water.

    It doesn’t seem that the plant has outgrown it’s basket and needs repotting but it is good to check the bark media and make sure that it is fresh enough to keep. Old media will turn dark and hold moisture too long which encourages rot. Note that heavy fertilizing may also lead to media breakdown over time.

    It is not bad to have roots poking out of the basket and out in the air. If this is a hanging basket the roots will keep growing and stretch out. If you later repot and the roots are tangled you can cut away the plastic basket to release the plant. You can also just remove old media and place the plant into a larger basket that will fit the roots.

    Here is a single bloom from Ctsm. Dentigrianum ‘SVO Excellent’ x Portagee Star ‘Brian Lawson’s Sunrise’ HCC/AOS
    Plant was purchased in June 2022 and grew with new flower spike but only one flower.
